![]() COM Port is set to 1 and I have used DIS to set the right cable configuration as well as put the cable in the right settings with the switch. I only have the OBDII connection inside the car, I believe. I even looked at live data of the valvetronic motor. ![]() ![]() I don't think I tried to view the page you're talking about, but I assumed INPA and the car are communicating as the 'ignition on/off' indicator within INPA works perfectly and I can read the engine module. Not sure what options that would give you so unsure if it wouild activate it for brake bleeding. I have more success using BMW Scanner 1.4 which is a cheap alternative to INPA and scans all modules your car has if they can comminicate. INPA is problematic installing even with so called one click installs. I take it that all you have is the 16pin OBD inside the cabin. Z3's however have the 20pin round diagnostic socket in the engine compartment, some have 16pin OBD inside the car as well but that only reads the engine and transmission modules. If you are selecting the correct module then it should connect.Ĭheck that your usb is Com1, it likes that position and the correct driver installed to run INPA.Ĭan it read the engine module? I take it you are connecting to the cabin 16pin OBD socket. ![]() I think it should display what module DSC is fitted. When you say it connects to the car are you able to read and view the page with vehicle information listed?
